Congrats to Michael Phelps, retiring as the most decorated Olympian in history with 22 medals overall (18 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze)
On July 31,2012 Michael Phelps created history by first winning a silver medal in the men’s 200m butterfly final but later a few minutes after he won a gold medal with his teammates in the 4x200m relay. With a gold medal in the 4x200m relay Phelps now has 15 gold medals and 19 overall olympic medals which makes him the greatest olympian of all time.
YAYYYY!!!! Congrats to Michael Phelps. Hope he adds to his now 19 medals with 3 more events left at the Olympics (hopefully all gold)
